rental bicycle : Specifications of the rental bicycles2025年8月14日

Here are the specifications of the rental bicycles at Giant Store Imabari.

Equipment may vary depending on the store. If you are renting from a location other than the Imabari store, please check directly with that store.

Equipment


（The photo shows an ML size bike. The width of the handlebars varies depending on the size.）

・Front light (50-lumen, battery-operated)

・Bell

・Rear reflector （no rear light.）

・One bottle cage included

An additional bottle cage can be mounted on the seat tube side for an extra charge of 330 yen (tax included).

 

PEDAL

All bicycles come with flat pedals.
We do not rent clipless pedals.
If you would like to use clipless pedals, please bring your own. Our staff can install them for you—please let us know when making your reservation or at reception.

 

Other equipment

One saddle bag or top tube bag is attached.

 

Contents of the Bag

For city bikes, aluminum road bikes, carbon road bikes, and premium road bikes:

・Lock

・Spare tube (a fee will be charged if used)

・Two tire levers

・QR Card: This card provides information on bicycle repair shops, mobile repair services, and taxi companies with bicycle-compatible vehicles along the Shimanami Kaido.
(Please note that repair costs are the responsibility of the customer.)

For E-bikes

・Lock

・Spare tube (a fee will be charged if used)

We also provide tire levers to customers who request them.

 

Other rental items

Portable tire pump

We offer free rental of portable tire pumps to customers who know how to repair flat tires.
Please ask a staff member if you would like to borrow one.
Customers renting road bikes or cross bikes can have one attached to their bicycle.

 

Bringing Your Own Mounting Parts

Some customers bring their own smartphone holders or cycle computer mounts.
If there is space to attach them to the handlebars, you may install them yourself.
However, we cannot install items that require removing existing screws or parts—thank you for your understanding.
If you would like a staff member to install them for you, please inform us at reception.
Please note that an installation fee will apply in this case.
